           M.S. Anthony

M. Susan Anthony is a performer, teacher, and director. Her research interests include women’s history, American popular culture, American theatrical history, nineteenth century theatre, and Gothic literature.

 

Anthony is the author of Gothic Plays and American Society as well as articles on American theatre in the Early Republic. Anthony received her B.A. from Bowling Green State University, her M.A. from Binghamton University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. She is a professor in the Department of Communication and Theatre at DePauw University.
